Clients often tell me how challenging it is to stay focused on being positively motivated towards their goals. When asked to describe their lives after achieving their goals, many are at a loss for words. But when asked to describe failure, they seem to have no problem at all.

Symbols and images are the languages of the unconscious mind. When you place the symbols and images of your dreams and goals in your visual field, you send a message to your unconscious mind to focus on realizing those dreams and goals.

According to Coach Elizabeth Rider, "A vision board is a physical collection of items such as pictures, magazine clippings, words, and quotes that visually affirm your goals and dreams." With the myriad of distractions in most lives, vision boards are a great way of unconsciously staying focused on your dreams and goals even when your mind is consciously focused on other things.

So... What's on your vision board? Let's talk about it...
